The victim was swept away by landslides and floods. 1 person is missing at the construction site of the Cai Stream Dredging and Reinforcement Project from Tho Ut Bridge to Dong Nai River, suspected to have been swept away by water at 8am on May 10; 1 person was injured by lightning in Quang Tri.

Heavy rain and storms also damaged and blew off roofs of 89 houses. In Lao Cai, there were 28 houses, Son La 2 houses, Tuyen Quang 42 houses, Hoa Binh 11 houses, Quang Tri 6 houses.

On the other hand, heavy rain and storms damaged 36.7 hectares of crops and forestry; 4.48 hectares of fish ponds, and 105 hectares of agricultural land were flooded.

53 households in Binh Duong; some locations on National Highway 2 in Tuyen Quang, traffic in Tuyen Quang City, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong were partially flooded.

210m of fence collapsed in Binh Duong; 10 electric poles and traffic lights collapsed in Tuyen Quang, Binh Duong.
