Boat capsizes in Ha Long Bay: Body of 6-year-old boy found

After many efforts to search for victims of the capsized boat in Ha Long Bay, on the morning of July 21, right before storm No. 3 (Wipha) made landfall, rescue forces in Quang Ninh province found the body of a child drifting near Titop Island.

According to verification, this is one of the 4 missing victims in the tourist boat capsized in Ha Long Bay that occurred on the afternoon of July 19.

The baby's body has been handed over to the hospital for further procedures.

Thus, in the boat capsize that caused 49 people to be in an accident in Ha Long Bay on the afternoon of July 19, in addition to 10 people still alive, 36 people died, and so far 3 victims are still missing at sea.

Along with the work of preventing and fighting storm Wipha, the functional forces of Quang Ninh province are still actively searching for the remaining victims of the capsized boat with the highest priority for search and rescue work./.
