Low temperatures can seriously affect the health of the elderly, those with weak immune systems, and those with underlying health conditions. Storms, tropical depressions, and cold fronts will cause strong winds and large waves at sea, affecting shipping activities. In particular, be prepared for unseasonal rains in the middle and end of the month. Heavy rains, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and lightning could negatively impact transportation, production, and public health.

Currently, at station DK1-7, the northeast wind is strong at level 6-7 (11-14 m/s). A low-pressure trough with its axis at approximately 5-7 degrees North latitude is connected to a low-pressure area at 5.5-6.5 degrees North latitude; 109.5-110.5 degrees East longitude.

Forecasts indicate that on December 10th, both day and night, the sea off Vinh Long will experience winds of force 5, sometimes force 6, gusting to force 7-8, with rough seas and waves 2-4 meters high. On December 11th, both day and night, the northeast wind will gradually decrease to force 4-5, occasionally reaching force 6 offshore, with rough seas. On December 13th, strong winds and high waves may reappear.
