Reporting on the results of operations in the first 6 months of 2025, Director of the Center Ly Duc Thuy said: Despite many difficulties, the collective leadership, officers and employees of the Sports Information and Communication Center have made every effort to successfully complete the assigned tasks in the following areas: General administration, communication and event organization, information technology and digital data.
Center Director Ly Duc Thuy reported the results to the Deputy Director.
Accordingly, for general administrative work, the Center has developed, revised and supplemented documents and regulations of the unit such as: Working regulations, internal spending regulations, democratic regulations, remuneration, royalties, labor norms... to suit the practical situation of the unit and current legal regulations; completed the Project on using construction assets of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; based on the new functions and tasks stipulated in Decision No. 33/QD-TDTTVN dated March 17, 2025, the Center has reviewed the Project on job positions and staff structure of the unit.
Information technology and digital data work has deployed phase 2 of the athlete database system applying 4.0 technology; is completing the Digital Transformation Project in the field of Sports and Physical Training.
Communication and event organization work ensures the stable operation and regular maintenance of the Sports and Physical Training Department's website (https://tdtt.gov.vn). In the first 6 months of 2025, nearly 1,500 news articles and photo reports were updated on the website. Every month, the number of news articles on https://tdtt.gov.vn is about 220 news articles.
Nearly 3,600 news and articles promoting the activities of Vietnamese teams competing in domestic and international tournaments; international sports news; activities of leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders of the Department of Physical Training and Sports... were posted on the website https://thethaovietnamplus.vn. Along with that, 02 issues of Vietnam Sports Special Edition were published.
A highlight in the communication and event organization work is that the Center has coordinated with partners (including FPT Play Television under FPT Corporation) to successfully organize the program of Voting for Outstanding Athletes and Coaches and the program of Vietnam Sports Glory (held at the Hanoi Sports Training and Competition Center) on March 22, receiving high appreciation. This is also the foundation for the Center and partners under FPT Corporation to build a framework for cooperation programs on information and communication between the Vietnam Sports Administration and FPT Corporation in the coming time.
The meeting took place on the morning of July 21 at the Vietnam Sports Administration.
In the last 6 months of the year, the Center will continue to review and adjust the leadership structure of the departments to ensure the requirements of the Job Position Project; complete the submission to the Ministry for promulgation of the Digital Transformation Project in the field of Sports and Physical Training; continue to build an athlete database system applying 4.0 technology.
Regarding communication and event organization, Director Ly Duc Thuy said that there are two important events: Organizing a meeting with the Ministry's press agency to promote the communication work of the Vietnam Sports Department and the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the Vietnam Sports Department and FPT Corporation in the field of sports information and communication. For these two events, the Center has completed the preparation work to organize.
Along with that, the coordination with the Vietnam Paralympic Committee to organize the event of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Paralympic Committee in September 2025 also ensures the set schedule. For the 8th Conference of Sports Ministers, the Center has developed a plan to implement the assigned tasks.
The Center has also developed a communication plan for the 10th National Sports Congress in 2026 and the election of outstanding athletes and coaches in 2025 for early implementation.
With the results achieved by Director of the Center Ly Duc Thuy, Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen highly appreciated the efforts of the Center's leaders, officers and employees in completing the assigned tasks in the first 6 months of the year.
Stating specific requirements for each task that the Center will carry out in the coming time, Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen believes that, despite the heavy workload, with proactive and flexible preparation, the Center's leadership, staff and employees will effectively complete the plan for the last 6 months of the year.
Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen also expects events such as: The meeting with the Ministry's press agency to promote the communication work of the Vietnam Sports Department and the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the Vietnam Sports Department and FPT Group will actively contribute to enhancing the stature of the communication work of the Vietnam Sports Department, especially in the areas of policy communication and media crisis handling.
Focusing on strengthening communication work for the 8th Conference of Sports Ministers, the 10th National Sports Congress in 2026 and the election of outstanding athletes and coaches in 2025 are also important activities that Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen requested the unit to actively coordinate in the coming time at the working session.
