On the afternoon of July 21, comrade Dang Thanh Giang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected and directed the work of preventing and fighting storm No. 3 at Tan De sluice, Phu Sa pumping station (Tan Thuan commune), Nguyen Tien Doai pumping station (Vu Tien commune) and Vu Van copper-colored dike area (Thu Vu commune).

At the checkpoints, the provincial leaders requested localities and officers on duty to focus on duty, ensure timely drainage, and minimize damage to crops and people's property. For the Vu Van copper dike area, special attention should be paid to points at risk of landslides, and the guard force at the foot of the dike should be increased to promptly detect and handle incidents according to the "4 on-site" motto.
