On July 21, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Van Hieu signed a decision to delegate authority to handle some administrative procedures to principals of public high schools. Accordingly, principals will be given the authority to handle school transfers and re-enrollment requests.
Accordingly, the decision decentralizes the authority to handle administrative procedures for principals of public high schools in transferring schools for high school students (TTHC code: 2.002478); Decentralizes the authority to carry out re-enrollment for high school students (TTHC code: 1.001088).
The above decision also assigns the General Education Department (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training) to be responsible for guiding public high schools to perform the above-decentralized tasks.
Principals of public high schools are responsible for handling school transfers and re-enrollment requests for public high school students according to the instructions of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training.
This Decision takes effect from July 21, replacing Decision No. 2004 dated July 11, 2023 of the Department of Education and Training on decentralization of administrative procedure authority of the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City.
After the merger, Ho Chi Minh City has 170 affiliated high schools, including 4 specialized schools: Le Hong Phong Specialized High School, Tran Dai Nghia Specialized High School, Le Quy Don Specialized High School and Hung Vuong Specialized High School.
