Through checking price declaration records, reports on expected tuition fees and prices of other services, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requested non-publiceducational institutions to strictly comply with the provisions at Point b, Clause 4, Article 8 of Decree 81/2021 of the Government, ensuring that tuition fee increases do not exceed 10% annually and are implemented publicly in accordance with the provisions of law.
In the document, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requested 11 non-public educational institutions to adjust their tuition fees to ensure compliance with the regulations in Decree 81. The reason is that these 11 schools have an expected tuition fee increase of more than 10% for the 2023-2024 school year compared to the 2022-2023 school year.
After adjusting tuition fees, 11 non-public schools must report to the Department of Education and Training before June 20.

Mr. Le Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, noted: "During the school year, if a non-public educational institution changes its tuition fees and other service prices, it must complete a supplementary price declaration and send it to the Department of Education and Training at least 7 days before applying the new declared price (the unit is not allowed to apply the new declared price before making the price declaration).
