Speaking at the opening ceremony of the tournament, journalist Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong newspaper emphasized that entering its 72nd year, Tien Phong newspaper has a long and proud history of organizing major sports tournaments in Vietnam. In its first organization, the Press and Media Pickleball Tournament - ACE Cup 2025 promises to be an attractive playground with many practical meanings.
"As the organizers, we hope this will become an annual tournament to improve health and physical fitness for officials, civil servants, and workers, and create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, strengthen solidarity, understanding, and exchange between units," said journalist Phung Cong Suong.
The editor-in-chief of Tien Phong newspaper also sent his best wishes to the athletes to compete with all their might, strictly follow the regulations, and promote the spirit of sportsmanship, solidarity, honesty, and nobility. At the same time, he expressed his confidence in the referee team to work objectively and impartially, contributing to the success of the tournament.

The Press and Media Pickleball Tournament - ACE Cup 2025, co-organized by Tien Phong Newspaper and 2 units: Channel 14 and ACEBD Champion, is a grassroots tournament with the participation of many athletes from press and media units and some partners of the newspaper with the spirit of sportsmanship, solidarity, honesty, and dedication to compete to achieve high achievements.
In the first season, the tournament gathered 150 excellent athletes from many clubs from provinces and cities to compete. With the scale of organization and prize money of nearly 1 billion VND, the participating athletes will compete in the following events: men's singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles, divided into two age groups: from 17 to 39 years old and from 40 years old and above, with 9 groups.

After a day of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee will present awards to the tournament's top performers. |
Matches from the qualifying round to the semi-finals will be played in one set of 11 points, changing sides at 6 points. The final will be upgraded to one set of 15 points and changing sides at 8 points. Match results will be updated transparently on the tournament's official website.
In addition to the dramatic football matches and competitive spirit, ACE Cup 2025 also offers many interesting sideline activities such as taking photos, interacting, minigames, giving souvenirs and networking space exclusively for people in the industry.
