This is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. These projects and works have a total investment of 1.28 million billion VND, of which 89 projects and works have been inaugurated and 161 projects and works have started construction.
The groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of 250 projects were held in person and online from the National Exhibition and Fair Center (in Dong Anh, Hanoi ) to 79 connecting points of 34 provinces and cities.

Attending the inauguration ceremony of the National Exhibition Fair Center were General Secretary To Lam; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; former Politburo member, former Standing member of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh; Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; and representatives of ministries, branches and functional agencies.

Speaking from the central bridge - the National Exhibition and Fair Center, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh stated that with the efforts of ministries, branches, localities and enterprises, today, across the country, we solemnly held the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of 250 projects in 34 provinces and cities; of which 161 projects were started; 89 projects were inaugurated with a total investment of 1.28 million billion VND.
These are all important projects of strategic significance, not only the result of efforts and joint efforts to overcome difficulties, but also a symbol of the aspiration for development and the will to rise of the entire nation. This is also a vivid demonstration of the achievements in developing the country's infrastructure, demonstrating the determination of the Party, State and people in building a rich, civilized and modern Vietnam.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup Corporation, the investor of the National Exhibition Center project, said that located at the gateway to Hanoi, with an architecture inspired by the image of the Golden Turtle God, a myth associated with the Co Loa legend, the National Exhibition Center is the largest exhibition center complex in Southeast Asia and is in the top 10 largest exhibition complexes in the world. The project was completed after nearly 10 months of lightning-fast construction, an unprecedented record in the field of building large-scale exhibition complexes in the world.

The National Exhibition Fair Center has a total area of over 900,000m2 , the heart of the complex is the Kim Quy exhibition house - a great monochord musical instrument structure with a giant length of 240,000 tons, 56m high, simulating the image of the Kim Quy god - the cultural symbol, the immortal traditional culture of the Co Loa people.
With a floor area of 130,000m2 , Kim Quy Exhibition Hall is designed to simultaneously host many large-scale, modern, multifunctional international fairs and exhibitions. Immediately after the inauguration ceremony, this place will be the focus of the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey". Along with that, a series of large-scale cultural and artistic events celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day will take place here.

At the inauguration ceremony of the National Exhibition Fair Center, General Secretary To Lam and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented the First and Third Class Labor Medals to groups that have made special contributions to the socio-economic development of the capital and the country. In particular, Vingroup Corporation was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal for its outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the construction of the National Exhibition Fair Center.
