18 billion VND loan to support job creation and tourism product development in 4 island communes

The loan program supports employment and tourism development, contributing to the implementation of the rural tourism development program in building new rural areas.

The People's Committee of Long Ho district has just issued a decision to implement a loan project to support employment and tourism development in 4 island communes. The capital for implementation is 18 billion VND.

The project aims to solve the capital needs of households in the association to develop tourism products to create new jobs and increase employment for workers; support the unemployed and underemployed to create jobs for themselves. Thereby, promoting the development of rural tourism associated with promoting the potential and advantages of agriculture , craft villages, culture and ecological environment.

The project implementation period is from the end of 2023 to 2025. The goal is to create jobs for about 400 workers who need loans to develop tourism products, including creating new jobs for more than 60 workers/year. Accordingly, about 60% will renovate fruit and flower gardens to serve eco-tourism; 20% will invest in entertainment activities in eco-gardens; 14% will renovate means, materials, and facilities to serve tourism...

At the same time, strive for 100% of rural tourist destinations to be introduced and promoted; 50% of rural tourist destinations to apply electronic transactions in tourism activities; build at least 1 model of a specific agricultural and rural tourism chain; deploy at least 1-3 products of "Community tourism service groups, eco-tourism and tourist destinations" and 1-3 model gardens associated with rural tourism; at least 50% of these products are protected by intellectual property rights and recognized as OCOP with 3-star standards or higher.
