Launching an emulation movement to promote the combined strength of the entire political system and all classes of people to successfully carry out the revolution of science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation in Dong Nai

(DN) - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc has just signed and issued Plan No. 217/KH-UBND dated June 20, 2025 on launching the emulation movement "Promoting the combined strength of the entire political system and all classes of people to successfully carry out the revolution of science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation in Dong Nai province" (referred to as the Provincial Emulation Movement).

This movement is in response to the Prime Minister's launch of the emulation movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation"; identifying participation in the emulation movement as an important political task of Party committees and heads of agencies, units and localities in Dong Nai province.

The province's emulation movement is widely deployed in agencies, units, localities, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and the entire population. At the same time, promoting the strength of the entire political system, the active participation of entrepreneurs, businesses and people in the development of science , technology, and innovation to successfully carry out the digital transformation revolution, creating new momentum.

The emulation movement of the province is organized in the whole province. The subjects of the emulation include: organizations, enterprises, households, individuals, intellectuals, scientists, inventors and people with outstanding achievements in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation, directly or jointly participating in this emulation movement.

The emulation movement will be organized and implemented from 2025-2030, divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 (from 2025-2027) will carry out consultation to launch the emulation movement "Promoting the combined strength of the entire political system and all classes of people to successfully carry out the revolution of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in Dong Nai province" to respond to and deploy the emulation movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation" launched by the Prime Minister...

Agencies, units and localities shall issue plans to implement the emulation movement of the province; organize the implementation of the emulation movement practically and effectively; conduct a preliminary review and assessment to draw lessons in 2027 to implement the next phase.

For phase 2 (from 2027-2030), based on the assessment of the implementation results of phase 1, the Department of Home Affairs will preside over and advise the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council to continue implementing phase 2 of the emulation movement and summarize in 2030.

The plan also sets targets for 2025 and strives for 2030. In particular, it focuses on the fields of digital government, digital economy, digital society, digital infrastructure, digital data, etc.
