The contest attracted the participation of 20 teams from agencies, businesses, and traditional cake makers from provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region and districts and cities in Ca Mau province.

The Organizing Committee awarded souvenir flags to the competing teams.

According to regulations, the processing and presentation time is 180 minutes, not including preparation time and not including pre-processed cakes. Cakes that require longer heat absorption time, or require a location or kitchen space suitable for product processing, must be registered with the Organizing Committee to arrange a suitable schedule and competition space.

The teams are skillful in every step of making the cake.

Traditional cakes are cakes originating from the community and are traditional. During the development process, they can be modified and renewed, but must be consistent with the culinary culture of the people.

Accordingly, the ingredients for making cakes are foods, grains, vegetables, tubers, fruits... ensuring origin and food hygiene and safety, with the motto of saving and being creative in using ingredients.

Many kinds of traditional cakes were made at the contest.

Traditional cakes are made with beautiful shapes, showing the characteristics of the locality, region and area.
