20 years of female journalists accompanying businesses

On the afternoon of April 17, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Journalists Association , the Vietnam Women Journalists Club organized the program "20 years - Journey to record the footprints of female journalists accompanying businesses".

Journalist Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, presented a certificate of merit to a representative of the Vietnam Women Journalists Club.

Attending the program were comrades: Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; representatives of the Vietnam Women Intellectuals Association, 16 outstanding Women Journalists Clubs representing the 3 regions of the North, Central and South ( Hai Duong Women Journalists Club is one of them).

At the program, the Vietnam Journalists Association presented the Emulation Flag to the Vietnam Women Journalists Club on the occasion of its 20th anniversary (June 21, 2002 - June 21, 2022) for its many outstanding achievements in the association's professional activities.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Women Journalists Club also awarded certificates of merit to 20 female journalists with outstanding achievements in professional activities and club activities; and presented commemorative medals to nearly 20 businesses that actively accompanied the activities of the Vietnam Women Journalists Club.

According to information shared by the President of the Vietnam Women Journalists Club, Pham Thi My, in the journey of 2 decades since its establishment, the club has made its mark in 4 aspects of activities: developing its organization, members; professional activities; charity activities and spreading its activities. From the Club initially established in 2002 with about 100 members mainly in Hanoi , to date, the Vietnam Women Journalists Club has developed and formed a widespread network across the country with 49 member clubs, attracting thousands of members to participate.

The Club's Board of Directors has created a professional "playground" to improve the professional capacity of female reporters and editors. The Vietnam Women Journalists Club has organized many meaningful professional activities such as organizing many seminars and discussions on female journalists with their profession and social responsibility to help women understand their profession better, do their job better and balance and harmonize two very heavy duties: being a journalist and "keeping the fire" in the family; connecting female journalists to do their professional work well and maintain the qualities and ethics of journalists in a market economy...

Awarding medals to outstanding businesses in cooperation with the club

Along with professional activities, the Vietnam Women Journalists Club also actively cooperates with local businesses to organize practical social activities, and thanks to that, the effectiveness of the club's social activities is increasingly widespread and deeper. From their professional activities, female journalists have discovered charity addresses and coordinated with businesses to organize direct, practical and effective charity activities to localities and establishments with the motto "go to the place and deliver to the hands"...
