According to information from the Ministry of Finance , based on reports from insurance companies, as of July 31, 2025, the situation of damage, compensation and insurance payments for the capsized ship Vinh Xanh 58 in Quang Ninh, specifically as follows:
Total expected compensation and insurance payments: 23.4 billion VND. Of which, in the field of non-life insurance, the total expected insurance compensation is 3.3 billion VND. Specifically: Shipowner's civil liability insurance for passengers and Crew accident insurance (Bao Long): Expected compensation is 1.2 billion VND.
Passenger accident insurance (Bao Viet Insurance co-insured with PTI, MIC, BSH): Estimated compensation amount is 1.1 billion VND.
Credit Insurance (AAA): Expected compensation amount of 1 billion VND.
In the life insurance sector: Total expected insurance payments: 20.1 billion VND. Including: Bao Viet Life 1.2 billion VND, Generali 6.25 billion VND, Manulife 7.63 billion VND, Dai-ichi 0.72 billion VND, Prudential 0.23 billion VND, AIA 4.04 billion VND, Shinhan 0.08 billion VND.
