245 youth volunteer teams launched to support the operation of the 2-level local government model

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of July 7, Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union simultaneously deployed youth volunteer teams in 166 communes and wards to support the operation of the two-level local government model and provide online public services at the grassroots level.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dua (Quan Son commune) is supported by youth union members at the Quan Son Commune Public Administration Service Center.

Accordingly, the province has launched 245 youth volunteer teams with a total of 2,538 volunteers, mainly union members, young people, cadres, civil servants, and young officials; provincial police youth union; commune and ward police youth union; students participating in the summer youth volunteer campaign; students returning home for summer vacation in the area.

At the launch, youth volunteer teams coordinated with functional forces to support 2,908 people, especially the elderly, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, children... to carry out a number of contents such as: accessing and effectively using online public services; guiding and guiding people to carry out administrative procedures according to the process; supporting basic operations on public devices; installing and using VNeID application, electronic identification accounts...

These practical activities contribute to promoting the pioneering role of youth and students in supporting local authorities in implementing the two-level local government administrative model and digital transformation; supporting people to access and effectively use online public services and digital platforms. At the same time, creating an environment for training and dedication for young people, contributing to building digital government and digital society right from the grassroots.
