On the evening of August 30th, the "Ba Dinh Red" program was officially announced, featuring numerous experiential and exploratory activities for tourists visiting the pearl island of Ngu Xa (Ba Dinh ward, Hanoi).

More than just a tourism festival, the series of activities promoting Hanoi's cultural and historical tourism in 2025 also brings to the people and tourists a symphony of "independence and freedom".

Speaking at the event, Ms. Pham Thi Diem, Chairwoman of the Ba Dinh Ward People's Committee, shared that this is a meeting point of the past and present, a place connecting thousand-year-old heritage with aspirations for growth in the new era.

"Every historical site, every street corner, every rhythm of life in Ba Dinh is a page of memory, a story that we want to tell to friends near and far. It is from these values that today, Ba Dinh embarks on a new journey - a journey of bringing its heritage and beauty to the world through modern, attractive, and emotionally rich approaches," Ms. Diem shared.

The Hanoi 2025 cultural and historical tourism program, themed "The Red of Ba Dinh," aims to honor cultural and historical values. Simultaneously, it seeks to spread patriotism, awaken national pride, and affirm Hanoi's image as a creative and distinctive city.

The program contributes to connecting destinations and introducing tourism products and tours in Ba Dinh ward.

Visiting Ngu Xa Island during this time, tourists will have the opportunity to participate in themed activities such as visiting Quan Thanh Temple, Thuy Trung Tien Temple, and An Tri communal house.

Experience the four double-decker train carriages of the Line 6 tram project: the Pho carriage, the Bao Cap carriage, the Thoc Lua Gao carriage, and the Tra and Coffee carriage.

Discover Hanoi's culinary delights at the "Memories of Old Hanoi Cuisine" experience zone, the Ngu Xa - Ba Dinh culinary space, and the Vietnamese street food space.

From August 31st to September 2nd, this venue will host performances of traditional and contemporary Ca Tru singing, as well as interactive street art performances.

In addition, there are interactive activities at the Independent Stations: a station providing drinking water on hot days for the people, a station for exchanging Vietnamese flags, a station for capturing memories, etc.

In particular, the street, ablaze with 28,000 red flags and heartwarming messages such as "Love your country, love your fellow citizens," and "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom," promises to be a popular check-in spot for young people.
