3 award-winning works at the Military Television Festival

From August 1 to 3, 2024, in Thai Nguyen province, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) organized the 14th All-Army Television Festival in 2024.

At the 14th Military Television Festival in 2024, there were 442 works in 4 categories: reportage, documentary, science and education program, "National Defense" column and "For National Border Security and Sovereignty " column of 136 agencies and units in the entire army participating. The Quang Tri Provincial Military Command participated in the festival with 3 works in 3 categories including documentary, reportage and "National Defense" column.

All 3 works won awards, including 2 Gold Awards (reportage “Square Star Guarding the Sea” and documentary “The Last Meeting”); 1 Certificate of Merit from the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army for the column “National Defense”. This is also the highest award won by the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command in the Military Television Festival.

The works participating in this festival exploit many different topics, reflecting multi-dimensional perspectives on examples, typical advanced models in performing military and defense tasks, on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; Party building; preventing "peaceful evolution"; preventing natural disasters and epidemics; mass mobilization work, policies, military rear; overcoming the consequences of war; models, initiatives, new ways of doing things, experiences in effective organization and implementation at grassroots units as well as touching stories, rich in humanity, honoring the beautiful image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era...

Each work has its own ideas, themes, content, characters, expression and nuances, but all contain passion and intelligence, creating rich and attractive television works.

The Organizing Committee awarded 62 Gold Cups, 106 Silver Cups and 148 Certificates of Merit to outstanding works; awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in successfully coordinating the organization of the 14th Military Television Festival in 2024.
