On December 6, the People's Committee of Da Nang city submitted a report on the list of technical infrastructure and social infrastructure projects inside and outside the Da Nang free trade zone.
Up to 33 projects have been proposed for the Da Nang City People's Council to consider and approve the investment preparation list, prioritize investment capital allocation, and support investment in the construction of technical infrastructure and social infrastructure inside and outside the free trade zone.
Of the 33 projects, 3 are located inside the free trade zone built in Hoa Vang district and 30 are located outside, built in Hoa Vang district and Lien Chieu district.
Specifically, the 3 internal projects include: investment in shared technical infrastructure for production areas; investment in shared technical infrastructure for logistics areas and investment in shared technical infrastructure for commercial service areas and other functions.
Projects outside the free trade zone are mainly related to transport infrastructure, resettlement areas for clearance, urban areas, etc.

Notable projects include: logistics infrastructure and dry ports; new urban areas No. 1 and No. 2; Cu De riverside seaport service urban area; resettlement areas in Hoa Son, Hoa Ninh, Hoa Nhon.

The free trade zone model has been established for a long time in countries around the world . However, in our country, Da Nang is the first locality to pilot the implementation.
It is expected that by December 2024, Da Nang must complete the project and documents to establish the Da Nang free trade zone and submit them to the Prime Minister.
In the recent past, Da Nang has continuously organized consultations to make a project to build a free trade zone.
According to Tuoi Tre Online, with the establishment of the free trade zone, real estate investors have recently shown interest in areas with these related projects.

Da Nang plans to have a free trade zone of about 2,400 hectares.
