Korean tourist gratefully receives back lost bag containing more than 33 million VND

(Dan Tri) - Two men, while walking on the beach in Da Nang, picked up a bag containing a lot of cash and turned it in to the police. The property was returned to a Korean tourist.

On September 1, information from An Hai Ward Police, Da Nang City, the unit organized to return lost property to Mr. Soon Chul Kwon, a Korean tourist.

This property was found by Mr. Le Van Tuyen (42 years old) and Mr. Mai Van Tinh (44 years old), both from Thanh Hoa, who were traveling to Da Nang city and found it while walking and swimming at Pham Van Dong beach, An Hai ward.

At the time of discovery, the property included more than 31 million VND and 104 USD (equivalent to more than 2.7 million VND), in a bag left on the beach.

Upon receiving the information, the authorities promptly investigated and identified the owner of the bag as Mr. Soon Chul Kwon, so they contacted and returned the property to the person who lost it.

At the handover ceremony, Mr. Soon Chul Kwon expressed his deep emotion and gratitude for the honest actions of the two Vietnamese citizens, as well as the dedication of the local police force. This is an unforgettable memory of the kindness and hospitality of the Vietnamese people.
