Da Nang's economy grew positively in 11 months, trade and services affirmed their driving role

ĐNO - On December 3, the Da Nang City Statistics Office said that the city's main economic sectors continued to record positive growth. In particular, trade and services affirmed their role as the main driving force.

Specifically, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in November 2025 is estimated at VND 20,755 billion, down slightly by 0.2% compared to the previous month but up 18.6% over the same period in 2024. In the first 11 months of 2025, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at VND 230,539 billion, up 23.1% over the same period in 2024.

Wholesale sales of goods in November 2025 are estimated at VND 29,509 billion, up 6.4% over the previous month. In the first 11 months of 2025, total wholesale sales of goods are estimated at VND 279,649 billion, up 10.3% over the same period in 2024.

Revenue from accommodation and catering services in November 2025 is estimated at VND 4,037 billion, down 1.2% compared to the previous month but up 20% over the same period in 2024. In the first 11 months of 2025, the total industry revenue is estimated at VND 48,565 billion, up 23.6% over the same period in 2024.

Total revenue of the transportation, warehousing, transportation support, postal and delivery industry in November 2025 is estimated at VND 3,325 billion, up 5.5% over the previous month. In the first 11 months of 2025, total revenue of the industry group reached VND 35,911 billion, up 9.9% over the same period last year.

Total revenue from other consumer services in November 2025 is estimated at VND 4,783 billion, down 1.9% compared to the previous month but up 25.8% over the same period in 2024. In the first 11 months of 2025, total revenue of the industry group reached VND 50,770 billion, up 42.1% over the same period in 2024.

Da Nang city's industrial production in the first 11 months of 2025 continued to maintain its growth rate, reflecting positive signs of economic recovery. Specifically, the index of industrial production (IIP) is estimated to increase by 8.4% over the same period in 2024.

Of which, the mining industry increased by 27.5%; the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 7.9%; the production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 15.8%; the group of water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment activities increased by 6.8%.

In November, the agricultural, forestry and fishery production situation in the city was generally stable, production activities were maintained according to plan and seasonal schedule.

Despite being affected by storms and heavy rains causing flooding, thanks to timely production direction and proactive prevention of natural disasters and epidemics, productivity and output in basic sectors were basically guaranteed.
