Quang Nam University celebrates the 50th anniversary of Lao National Day

On the morning of December 2, Quang Nam University celebrated the 50th anniversary of Lao National Day (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2025).

Attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders of departments, agencies and agencies in Da Nang city along with a large number of staff, lecturers, students and international students studying at the school.

Dr. Pham Nguyen Hong Ngu, Vice Rector of Quang Nam University, said that the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos has always been preserved and nurtured by the school through the training of Lao students. Currently, there are 148 Lao students studying at the school, and the school always creates favorable conditions for Lao students to study, practice and integrate well.

At the ceremony, school leaders presented gifts and commended Lao students for their outstanding achievements in studying, scientific research, arts and sports.

Previously, on December 1, Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Trong Duong, Rector of Quang Nam University, visited and congratulated the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang.
