The medical profession requires students to have a solid grasp of theoretical knowledge, as well as proficiency in practical skills, professional reflexes and medical ethics. Based on that requirement, Ha Tinh Medical College has proactively adjusted the training program to enhance practice right from the first year. Along with the innovation of learning content, the school also expands cooperation with hospitals and medical facilities in the area, creating conditions for students to access practical environments and practice skills before entering actual work.

Along with the innovation of the training program, the school focuses on investing in facilities and equipment to improve the effectiveness of students' practice. Practice rooms such as: Laboratory, Inorganic - Organic Chemistry Room, Testing - Analytical Chemistry Room, Pharmaceutical Chemistry - Pharmacology Room... are equipped synchronously, meeting the requirements of skill training, developing clinical thinking and improving the observation ability of learners. Each practice session is designed to closely follow the professional process, from technical operations to communication skills with patients, helping students form standard professional reflexes.
For student Dang Thi Hoai - class 8A of College of Pharmacy, the practical environment is an important factor that helps her better understand the nature of her future work. Hoai shared: "Directly working with testing processes, pharmaceutical preparation... helps me avoid passive learning. The practical hours force me to observe accurately, handle situations quickly and ensure compliance with safety procedures."

Not only pharmacy students, but also nursing, midwifery, and imaging technology students... have access to modern simulation environments and practice at provincial and grassroots medical facilities.
Student Nguyen Nhat Tra My - Nursing class 18B said: "In the practice sessions, we simulated many real-life situations. Teachers required us to handle the process correctly, from communicating with patients to performing techniques. Every small mistake was analyzed so that students could self-correct."
The quality of practice largely determines output capacity, therefore, the specialized training faculties of Ha Tinh Medical College have proactively reviewed the curriculum and adjusted it in the direction of "increasing practice and streamlining theory".

Lecturer Nguyen Van Trung - Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Traditional Medicine shared: "We increase the number of practice hours and organize many long-term internships at the hospital combined with assessment of actual capacity. This is a way for students to become more mature, reducing confusion when going to work. Every student graduating must demonstrate the ability to handle real-life situations, following the correct procedures and ensuring patient safety."
According to statistics from Ha Tinh Medical College, about 70% of students have jobs in their field of study within 1-2 years after graduation. This rate is achieved thanks to the ability to adapt quickly and the solid practical skills that students accumulate during their studies.
Many hospitals and medical facilities also evaluate the school’s students as having a serious demeanor, a good adherence to professional procedures and easy integration into the real working environment. This is a clear demonstration of the effectiveness of the training method that focuses on practice, helping students confidently take on jobs immediately after graduation.

Mr. Tran Chien Thang - Principal of Ha Tinh Medical College emphasized: "We identify practical training as the number one priority and consider it the foundation to ensure output quality. Students must have access to the environment closest to the actual work, from simulation models to internships at hospitals, so that when they graduate, they can catch up immediately and not be confused. In the coming time, the school will continue to expand the network of internship facilities, strengthen cooperation with provincial and grassroots hospitals, and invest in more integrated simulation rooms.
We also aim to improve the standards of lecturers to ensure that each class hour is a real "practice" hour. The school aims to train a team of medical personnel who are not only good at their profession but also have courage, responsibility and professional ethics, meeting the increasingly high demands of the industry."
The focus on practice has been creating a distinctive mark for Ha Tinh Medical College. With a long-term investment roadmap, continuous updates on programs and equipment, and a spirit of innovation in teaching methods, the school expects to train a team of medical personnel who are both professionally skilled, responsible and have professional courage, meeting the increasing needs of society and the medical industry.
