Training on digital transformation and application of the app "Vietnamese Farmers"

On the morning of December 4, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union organized a training course on "Raising awareness and thinking capacity on digital transformation and applying the Farmer app for officials and farmer members in agricultural and rural development" in 2025 in Thieu Tien commune.

Comrade Nguyen Quoc Tien, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association attended and delivered the opening speech at the training course.

Attending and delivering the opening speech at the training course, comrade Nguyen Quoc Tien, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association emphasized the importance of digital transformation in agricultural and rural development; at the same time, he requested cadres and farmer members to promote the spirit of learning, proactively approach technology, and effectively apply the app "Vietnamese Farmers" in production, business and life.

At the training course, representatives of the Center for Plant Testing and Translation Research (Thanh Hoa Agricultural Institute) introduced topics on: the Party and State's policies and guidelines related to digital transformation; benefits of digital transformation in agriculture and rural areas; instructions on applying digital technology in production, business, promotion and consumption of agricultural products; skills in using online public services and digital tools to serve rural life.

Experts from the Provincial Farmers’ Association guided students to install and use the “Vietnamese Farmers” app. Representatives of agricultural material suppliers introduced plans to support and supply materials and fertilizers for farmers’ production.

After opening the training course, delegates visited some typical production models in Thieu Tien commune.
