Promoting national solidarity
With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity and Development", the Congress focused on objectively assessing the situation of the great national unity bloc; at the same time, recognizing the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the period 2024-2025.
From there, draw lessons and propose an action program for the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province for the 2025-2030 term to meet the requirements of innovation and development of Gia Lai province in the new era.
Accordingly, over the past time, the Fatherland Front at all levels has continuously innovated the content and methods of operation, focusing on implementing and completing the set targets and tasks.
The campaigns, movements and activities chaired and coordinated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee have had many innovations and achieved positive results. The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province has mobilized the participation of the entire political system in implementing the policy of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on strengthening twinning activities between localities, units and villages and hamlets of ethnic minority areas in the province.
The movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind" attracts the attention of the whole society.
The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has completed the target of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses with 12,520 houses, reaching 100% of the plan. The campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" has many new contents and solutions.
The campaign "Changing the thinking and working methods of ethnic minorities to gradually escape poverty sustainably" has become a bright spot with hundreds of typical models.
In particular, in the recent past, in the face of natural disasters and floods, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has called for support for people in the provinces and cities in the Northern and North Central regions to overcome the consequences of storms and floods; at the same time, called for joint efforts to support people in the province to overcome difficulties and overcome the consequences of storm No. 13 and floods.
According to preliminary statistics, up to now, the province has received over 200 billion VND, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives and restore production.
In his speech on the coordination work to promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in participating in key programs and projects of the province, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh stated: "Promoting the role of the center of solidarity, in recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has clearly demonstrated political mettle, intelligence and social responsibility.
In every emulation movement, every revolutionary action program, in any field, there are the imprints and positive contributions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations. This is the foundation, premise and solid support for the Party Committee, government and people of Gia Lai province to overcome difficulties, steadfastly and determinedly complete the socio-economic development goals, and ensure national defense and security.
At the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Ngoc Luong affirmed: The 1st Congress of the Gia Lai Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025-2030 is an important event, a broad political activity, creating a strong change in the awareness and actions of all classes of people, creating a new momentum in the construction and development of the province.
Everyone is placing their full trust and great expectations on the important decisions of the Congress. The proposed action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the province for the 2025-2030 term is expected to meet the requirements of innovation and development of Gia Lai province in the new era.
Enhancing the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front
Speaking at the Congress, comrade Thai Dai Ngoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Fatherland Front, member organizations at all levels and people of all walks of life in the province during the past term.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: The Congress takes place in the context that the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people in the province are striving to compete to achieve achievements to welcome the success of the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; creating a solid foundation to resolutely achieve the goal of building Gia Lai province into a fairly developed province of the country.
Besides opportunities and advantages, we are also facing many difficulties and challenges, especially the serious impacts and consequences caused by climate change and natural disasters.
The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, member organizations at all levels and people of all walks of life to continue to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on promoting the tradition and strength of great national unity; promoting the role of dignitaries, officials, prestigious people in religions, ethnic groups and in the community; promoting the strength of cultural identity; strongly arousing the will of self-reliance, self-strengthening, the spirit of innovation, creativity, and the desire to contribute; joining hands and unanimity to build Gia Lai province to develop more and more.
“Along with that, effectively organize and implement movements and campaigns; continue to closely follow the province's key goals and tasks, especially building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and sustainable poverty reduction associated with national target programs; shift the focus from "meeting standards" to "improving quality and sustainability" - the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized.
In particular, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc noted the important role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations in information and propaganda work; in the process of consultation and introduction of candidates as well as in supervising the election process and coordinating the effective implementation of contents related to the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Attending and directing the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy expressed his joy when Gia Lai overcame many difficulties and obstacles to effectively operate the two-level local government organization, the province's socio-economic situation continued to grow well, and many fields achieved high results.
"We believe that, with the strategic vision of the Party Committee and the government, and the trust, support and consensus of the people, Gia Lai will join the whole country in successfully implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, bringing our country forward in the era of national growth" - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front expected.
The Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Gia Lai province to continue promoting national solidarity, arousing and promoting cultural values; creating strong endogenous resources, associated with the aspiration to develop a rich and beautiful homeland.
At the same time, promote the implementation of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns among the people in a substantial and sustainable manner; improve the quality of social supervision and criticism work; Actively innovate the content and methods of the Front's operations to focus on the grassroots, be close to the people, understand the people, serve the people, and take residential areas as the center of activities.

The 1st Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025-2030, took place at a time when the whole country entered a new era with important goals and orientations.
With the spirit of "Solidarity-Democracy-Innovation-Creativity-Development", the Congress resolved on general goals, 15 specific targets, 6 action programs and 4 key breakthroughs in the 2025-2030 term.
Accordingly, the four breakthroughs include: enhancing the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Gia Lai province in supervising the activities of the government at all levels in the province, in the period of 2025-2030; promoting coordination in organizing effective and practical "People's Forums"; digital transformation in the system of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels in the province, in the period of 2025-2030; improving the quality of human resources of the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels in the province.
In the working program, the Congress consulted to elect 134 members to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term I, 2025-2030. At the first conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term I, consulted to elect a Standing Committee of 9 members.
Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term 2024-2029, holds the position of Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term I, term 2025-2030.
The Congress also consulted and elected a delegation of 26 members to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term. Of these, there are 8 ex-officio delegates, 18 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central Relief Mobilization Committee supported 30 billion VND from the Central Relief Fund for Gia Lai province to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, soon restore production and stabilize people's lives.
