Through the contributions of kind-hearted people, the Organizing Committee has mobilized 400 gifts, each consisting of 10 kg of rice and necessities, worth nearly 300,000 VND. The total value of the program is more than 114 million VND. This is a timely source of encouragement, contributing to sharing difficulties with the poor and the disabled.

Venerable Thich Dat Ma That Dung, Abbot of Truc Lam Ca Mau Zen Monastery; and Mr. Nguyen Van Nham, Permanent Deputy Secretary of An Xuyen Ward Party Committee, presented gifts to the people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Venerable Thich Dat Ma That Dung emphasized: “Vu Lan is a season of filial piety and gratitude. Not only to remember the merits of birth, this is also an opportunity to spread the spirit of compassion and sharing with the community. Through the gifts, the Zen Monastery wishes to join hands with the local government to alleviate some of the difficulties, demonstrating the morality of "The good leaves cover the torn leaves", towards a humane and affectionate society."
