According to a study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry (2014), resveratrol can cause prostate cancer cell death and slow the spread of tumors. In addition, grapes also contain biological compounds such as flavonols, anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins, which help neutralize free radicals - the cause of cell mutations leading to cancer.
