At the meeting, the youth union members of Cao Bang Newspaper Branch informed about the topic "100-year journey of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism", reviewing the tradition and history of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism through the periods. From Thanh Nien newspaper founded by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc in 1925, through the stages of fighting for independence and national unification, to the period of innovation and integration. The above marks affirm the pioneering role of revolutionary journalism on the ideological - cultural front, orienting the development of modern journalism in the era of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, at the same time, spreading historical, cultural and professional values to the public.
Entering the 21st century, our country's press is facing a wave of strong changes, which have been and are profoundly changing the way information is produced and received. Implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW and the Press Plan to 2025, many press agencies across the country have reorganized and streamlined their organizations, aiming for effective and modern operations. This is an inevitable but also challenging process, requiring quick adaptation and creativity from the press team.
The thematic meeting is an opportunity for each member of the Cao Bang Newspaper Youth Union to arouse pride in journalism, at the same time promote the spirit of initiative, creativity, and strive to train political qualities, professional ethics, improve multi-platform working skills, and master technology to be worthy successors, contributing to continuing the glorious journey of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism in the new era.
On this occasion, the Cao Bang Newspaper Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Union of Lam Son Thuong hamlet, Hong Viet commune to carry out a general cleaning and clearing operation along the road to Nguom Boc cave - a national historical revolutionary relic - which marked many historical events about the revolutionary life of President Ho Chi Minh from 1942 to 1945; presented 2 gifts (each worth 500 thousand VND) to 2 families in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Hong Viet commune.
On the same day, Cao Bang Newspaper Youth Union organized the program "Cao Bang Newspaper Youth continue the tradition - Join hands for the community" in Bach Dang commune (Hoa An).
At the program, the youth union members took part in a general cleaning, sweeping and offering incense at the National Monument - Memorial Site of President Ho Chi Minh with the Military Vehicle and Motorcycle Industry; presented 10 gifts (each worth 300,000 VND) to poor households and households with disabled people in Bach Dang commune.
