50,000 Hanoi women's union members and officials performed folk dances to celebrate the 30/4 holiday

(PLVN) - On April 26, more than 50,000 cadres and women's union members in 526 communes, wards and towns in Hanoi performed folk dances to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

In the joyful and exciting atmosphere towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, more than 50,000 cadres and women's union members in 526 communes, wards and towns in the city responded to participate in the folk dance performance to the medley "The Country is Full of Joy" and "Spring in Ho Chi Minh City".

At the headquarters of the People's Committees of wards, communes, towns, cultural houses, community flower gardens and stadiums, the images of red flags with yellow stars and flowing ao dai create a brilliant, emotional scene filled with national pride.

The performance was held throughout the city, not only spreading the love for the homeland and country; gratitude to the soldiers, heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers who sacrificed themselves, devoted their strength, intelligence and wealth to the independence of the country, but also affirming the belief of women members in the cause of innovation, industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , ready to bring the country into a new era - the era of national growth.
