Monthly allowance payments have been made to more than 78,600 people, with a total cost of over 329 billion VND..., the non-cash payment rate has reached over 75%. Thus, 100% of NCC in the province have been cared for, appreciated, and well taken care of, with no NCC subjects left behind...

On July 18, Working Group No. 11 of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, led by Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Doan Thi Thu Thuy, visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Tran Thi Bay (98 years old, residing in Hamlet 7, Bom Bo Commune). When meeting the members of the group, Mother Bay expressed her excitement not only because of the attention of the political system, but also because of the return of grateful children, demonstrating the nation's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source".

Mother Bay said that her husband was a martyr named Tran Van Khai, who died in 1968, during the fierce period of the resistance war against American imperialism. Following his heroic father, his son, martyr Tran Van Cua, died for the independence of the Fatherland in 1970.

"Today, my children came to visit me, and my heart is filled with emotions as if I were welcoming my beloved husband and son back to me" - Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Bay emotionally confided.

Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs DOAN THI THU THUY said that along with 12 delegations of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province visiting and presenting gifts to show gratitude to NCC, localities in the province simultaneously organized many activities to show gratitude and respond to gratitude.

People with merit are always cared for in all aspects.

According to the Resolution regulating support policies for revolutionary veterans and their relatives in Dong Nai province, approved by the Provincial People's Council at the regular meeting on July 24, 2025, there are 4 new policies to support revolutionary veterans and their relatives in the province. The total estimated cost is about 23 billion VND, from the Dong Nai provincial budget.

Accordingly, the province will increase the gift support level from 1 million VND to 2 million VND for the following cases: Vietnamese Heroic Mothers who are receiving monthly preferential allowances and individuals who have been awarded the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother before July 28 every year but have not completed the procedures to receive monthly preferential allowances; Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor during the resistance war period.

At the same time, this resolution adds groups of subjects according to the Ordinance on preferential treatment of NCC and groups of revolutionary activists according to decisions of the Prime Minister in Dong Nai province to receive monthly allowances.

Ms. Doan Thi Thu Thuy added that this new resolution has many policies to continue to care for and provide better care for NCC cases and relatives of NCC in the area. The whole province will have nearly 7 thousand more people participating in the revolution who will benefit from policies according to the Prime Minister's decisions and will be cared for and provided with good care in all aspects.

These include: Revolutionary activists, resistance fighters, national defenders, and those performing international duties; soldiers who participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country with less than 20 years of service in the army who have been demobilized and returned to their localities; police officers and soldiers who participated in the resistance war against the US with less than 20 years of service in the people's police who have quit their jobs and returned to their localities; youth volunteers who have completed their missions in the resistance war...

Upon hearing the news that the Provincial People's Council passed the Resolution on Regulations on policies to support revolutionary veterans and their relatives in Dong Nai province, many revolutionary veterans in the province expressed their joy because they continue to receive deep attention from the Party and State.

Severely disabled veteran Nguyen Thanh Long (residing in Hamlet 1, Nghia Trung Commune) confided: “We joined the resistance war to protect the Fatherland with the hope that the country would be peaceful and independent, and that the people could live freely. The attention of the political system and the entire population will give us more motivation to live better, to truly be disabled veterans who are “disabled but not useless”.

With the deep concern and gratitude of the entire political system and the entire population, the lives of all aspects of the NCC and their relatives in the province continue to improve. Dong Nai province has been effectively implementing the work of caring for NCC and the tradition and morality of "Repaying gratitude" and "Remembering the source of water when drinking" of the nation.

Comrade VO TAN DUC, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee:

Taking care of customers is a command from the heart

Dong Nai province is always deeply aware that: Taking care of the elderly is not only a responsibility, but also a deep command from the heart. No sacrifice is anonymous, no contribution is small in the cause of fighting for national liberation and building and defending the Fatherland.

Heroic Vietnamese mothers have dedicated their most beloved children to the Fatherland. Each mother is a shining example of patriotism, silent and noble sacrifice. The wounded and sick soldiers - soldiers returning from the battlefield, carrying many injuries and war scars, but always showing a strong will, living responsibly, contributing to their families and society. The NCCs with the revolution, resistance fighters, pre-insurrection cadres... are living witnesses to a glorious and proud time...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tham, Vice Chairman of Bom Bo Commune People's Committee:

Do a good job of gratitude and repaying kindness

Bom Bo commune has 69 NCC, of which 44 cases are receiving monthly allowances; including Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Bay who is still alive; 12 wounded soldiers, 6 sick soldiers and other cases.

War invalid Nguyen Xuan Kham (residing in Binh Loc ward):

Must be an example for today's generation

Returning from the war, with over 84% physical damage, I still feel more fortunate than many of my comrades who will no longer see the country at peace. In the fierce hardships of war, we all fought hard, many comrades fell so that we could return alive. Therefore, we must live a worthy life, an example for today's generation to follow...
