This is an event of profound political and cultural significance, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Speaking at a press conference on August 1, Mr. Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association - said that Fatherland in the Heart is a symphony of patriotism, where millions of Vietnamese hearts beat together under the red flag with a yellow star.

With the message "The Fatherland is not far away - The Fatherland is in everyone's heart", the program brings a journey of deep emotions, connecting the heroic memories of the past with the aspirations of the present and future.

He shared that the idea of the program was born many months ago with the desire to perform an art night covered in red - the color of the national flag - at My Dinh Stadium. In which, the most emotional highlight was when 50,000 people sang Tien Quan Ca in unison.

This program is completely free. In the first 9 minutes of opening registration, the system recorded more than 3 million requests, causing the ticket distribution portal to overload.

20,000 tickets were distributed to the public, the rest were allocated to the military, police, students, press... The organizing committee worked with authorities to ensure security, traffic, and health at the highest level.

However, Mr. Minh also warned about the situation of fake tickets being sold on social networks: “We confirm that, up to now, not a single ticket has been issued. The tickets being sold are all fake. People should not spend money to buy them to avoid helping profiteers. We have sent a dispatch to the police to coordinate the handling.”

A special detail revealed by Mr. Minh is that the entrance ticket is designed as a souvenir, printed with a handwritten copy of the song Tien Quan Ca by musician Van Cao.

At the press conference, musician Van Thao - son of the late musician Van Cao - expressed his emotion when "the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2nd, also marks the 80th anniversary of the song Tien Quan Ca being chosen as the first National Anthem until today".

He recounted that Tien Quan Ca was composed by musician Van Cao during the period of secret activities of the Viet Minh movement. The song was not created to become the National Anthem, but was later chosen as the official National Anthem of Vietnam.

Sharing about the immortal work Tien Quan Ca , musician Van Thao emotionally recalled what his father once said that on August 17 and 19, 1945, at the Hanoi Opera House Square, tens of thousands of people in the capital sang the song Tien Quan Ca.

At that time, musician Van Cao was on duty protecting the Viet Minh honor guard and maintaining order for the revolutionary masses. Hearing the unison singing of thousands, tens of thousands of people, he could not contain his emotions and burst into tears.

Later, he wrote in his memoir: “At that time, I understood that Tien Quan Ca was no longer mine alone. That song belonged to the people.”

“The most touching thing that he often told me later was that on August 19, he was the one who led the Young Pioneers Choir to sing the National Anthem, and then marched with the people of Hanoi to the Northern Palace to seize power,” Mr. Van Thao recalled.

Musician Van Thao added that before passing away, musician Van Cao told his family: “Whenever you have the chance, give this National Anthem to the people. That song has long since ceased to be mine, so don’t ask for anything in return.”

Musician Van Thao shared: “The family has fulfilled their last wish. Tien Quan Ca has been returned to the State and officially belongs to the people.”

Since then, the song has truly become a sacred symbol of the nation, associated with every important historical event of the country.

At the press conference, the General Director of the program "Fatherland in the Heart" - Mr. Dang Le Minh Tri - said that "Fatherland in the Heart" will bring a different artistic experience compared to regular concerts.

The stage is designed in a V shape, 26m high, symbolizing “Vietnam”, “Victory” and “Van Cao”. The performance space is divided into four areas with the messages: Independence, Freedom, Happiness, Red Flag with Yellow Star.

Music is a highlight. Music director Nguyen Huu Vuong re-arranged many familiar songs with a contemporary feel, such as Len Dang and Duong Len Tien Tien , helping the younger generation listen and be moved in the way of their time.

Singer Tung Duong humorously shared that he "asked" to sing 8 songs but the organizers only allowed 5 songs, including Mot Vong Viet Nam , Viet Tiep Chua Hoa Binh ...

Notably, the program featured 68 soldiers from the Army Officer School 1 - who represented the Vietnam People's Army in the parade at Red Square (Russia) - along with athletes such as Quang Hai, Anh Vien, and Le Van Cong - who brought glory to the Fatherland.

The Fatherland in the Heart will end with an 8-minute fireworks display at the F1 racetrack, with 300 high-altitude fireworks and 60 low-altitude fireworks, concluding a special music night in sparkling light and surging national pride.
