Imprint of 2,900MW capacity and a series of large projects at home and abroad
As one of the leading energy developers in Vietnam today, T&T Group has built a methodical investment strategy, long-term vision and quickly affirmed its mark in many fields: solar power, wind power, LNG and cross-border energy projects.
Officially entering the energy industry with Phuoc Ninh Solar Power Plant in June 2020, paving the way for a series of energy projects under the T&T Group brand across the country, the group of businessman Do Quang Hien has currently deployed a total cumulative investment capacity of nearly 2,900 MW.
Of which, the group completed and put into operation 10 wind and solar power plants in many provinces and cities across the country, with a total capacity of 877MW completed and in operation.
T&T Group is implementing the Hai Lang LNG power project (Quang Tri) phase 1, with a scale of 1,500 MW, investment capital of nearly 2.3 billion USD, with the feasibility study report appraised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and expected to be completed and put into operation in the third quarter of 2029.

Not stopping at the domestic market, in Laos, the Savan 1 wind power project with a capacity of 495MW is also being implemented, of which phase 1 with 300MW is expected to operate by the end of 2025. This is also the project marking T&T Energy's first strategic step into the international market.
The award “Strong Brand for Green Growth 2025” given to T&T Energy is a clear demonstration of these outstanding achievements, affirming the increasingly strong position of T&T Group on the national and regional energy map. At the same time, the award is also a recognition of T&T Group’s dedication and efforts to accompany the Government in achieving sustainable development goals.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, Deputy General Director of T&T Group, Chairman of T&T Energy, “Strong brand for green growth 2025” is the driving force for T&T Energy and T&T Group to continue to invest heavily, promote green transformation and affirm their pioneering role in the energy sector.
“This is a stepping stone for T&T Energy and T&T Group to continue to break through, becoming a symbol of the aspiration of Vietnamese private enterprises in the journey of greening the country's energy.
We are committed to actively accompanying the Government in the goal of ensuring national energy security, while contributing to raising the Vietnamese brand on the world energy map," Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh emphasized.
T&T Group and sustainable energy development strategy
Right before the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, T&T Group completed the connection of the power transmission line from Savan 1 Wind Power Plant (Savannakhet, Laos) to the first pole of the 220kV line on the Vietnamese side, after more than 6 months of rapid construction.
The project is a clear demonstration of the group's implementation capacity and long-term strategy in cross-border energy development.

T&T Group and T&T Energy continue to pioneer in new energy fields such as offshore wind power, LNG Hub, green hydrogen... T&T Group also continues to invest in many renewable energy projects, factories producing battery energy storage systems (BESS)...
The projects aim to supply electricity to the national grid, sell electricity to FDI enterprises under the direct power purchase mechanism DPPA, provide energy storage solutions for renewable energy plants, and provide green electricity to produce green hydrogen.
T&T Group is also preparing the necessary conditions to deploy investment, construction and put projects into operation in the 2026-2030 period.
To implement, T&T Group has cooperated with many of the world's leading partners in the energy sector such as: Hanwha, Kogas, Kospo, SK Innovation (Korea); erex, Marubeni, Sojittz, JPower (Japan); Cospower, Gedi, Goldwind (China), BP (UK), Vinacom (Laos)...
Standard Charted Bank has committed a $6 billion financing package for T&T Group's green energy projects.

T&T Group aims to reach a total power generation capacity of 16,000-20,000MW by 2035, accounting for about 10% of Vietnam's power system capacity, most of which comes from clean energy sources such as solar power, wind power, LNG power, biomass power and green hydrogen/ammonia, aiming towards the common goal of bringing Vietnam to net zero emissions by 2050.
In the context of Resolution No. 70 emphasizing ensuring national energy security until 2030, with a vision to 2045, this strategy of T&T Group is a clear demonstration of the aspiration of the private sector in the process of accompanying the country in developing sustainable energy; creating a foundation for future growth goals.
