6 Vietcombank locations selling SJC gold bars to the public.

Vietcombank (Vietnam Foreign Trade Commercial Bank) has just announced information regarding the commencement of selling SJC gold bars to the public starting from June 3, 2024.

In order to contribute to the successful achievement of the goal of stabilizing the gold bullion market as directed by the Government and the State Bank of Vietnam, from June 3rd, Vietcombank will begin selling SJC gold bullion directly to individual Vietnamese customers.

Regarding the locations for selling gold, SJC gold bars will be purchased by Vietcombank from the State Bank of Vietnam and sold directly to the public, initially at 6 transaction points in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In Hanoi:

1. Vietcombank Branch Office: 11 Lang Ha Street, Thanh Cong Ward, Ba Dinh District.
2. Vietcombank Hanoi branch office: 11B Cat Linh Street, Quoc Tu Giam Ward, Dong Da District.
3. Vietcombank Ba Dinh branch office: 72 Tran Hung Dao Street, Tran Hung Dao Ward, Hoan Kiem District.

In Ho Chi Minh City:

1. Vietcombank Ho Chi Minh City branch office: 5 Cong Truong Me Linh Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1.
2. Vietcombank Nam Saigon branch office: 23 Nguyen Huu Tho Street, Tan Hung Ward, District 7.
3. Vietcombank Thu Duc branch office: 50A Dang Van Bi Street, Binh Tho Ward, Thu Duc City.

Regarding the selling price of gold, based on the purchase price of gold bars from the State Bank of Vietnam, Vietcombank will determine and announce the selling price of SJC gold bars on the Vietcombank website and at the aforementioned Vietcombank gold selling locations.

Vietcombank will sell gold to the public at six transaction locations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Regarding the method of purchasing gold, customers can go directly to the above-mentioned Vietcombank gold sales locations to conduct transactions, make payments in cash or by bank transfer, and receive gold on the spot. Sales invoices are provided to customers in the form of electronic invoices.

Vietcombank has been officially licensed by the authorities to trade gold bars and is finalizing the necessary conditions to ensure the convenient, safe, and transparent direct sale of gold bars to the public.

This contributes to the successful achievement of the goal of narrowing the gap between domestic and international gold prices to a suitable and sustainable level, in accordance with the policies and directives of the Government and the State Bank of Vietnam.

Vietcombank also notes that, in cases where customers plan to purchase large quantities of gold, to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations, they should prepare the necessary information for declaration or open an account at Vietcombank before the transaction, or make payments via bank transfer for greater convenience and speed.

At the same time, Vietcombank only sells SJC gold bars to individual customers and does not buy SJC gold bars from customers .
