6 forces participated in the parade at the 80th Anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2

The celebration of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) is a particularly important political event of national scale, organized by the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly, the President, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Hanoi City.

Forces participating in the State-level preliminary rehearsal parade on the evening of August 27.

According to information from the Press Center serving the Anniversary, the ceremony will officially take place from 6:30 a.m. on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square (Hanoi). Regarding the parade, the Ministry of National Defense will preside over it, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi City and related departments, ministries, branches, agencies and units.

There are 6 forces participating in the parade, including: traditional torch bearer and fire guard; ceremonial artillery force; air force flying salute; parade and marching force; background force (light guard and 29 standing blocks); formation and letter formation force.

In the parade force, there are 4 honor guard groups; 43 groups representing the people's armed forces, foreign military groups (China, Russia, Laos, Cambodia), military vehicles, artillery, special police vehicles; sea parade force; 12 mass parade groups; 1 cultural and sports group.

Regarding the parade program, it includes: traditional torch procession; ceremonial fireworks; air force salute; military parade, march of the blocks, in order: parade of the ceremonial block; parade of the walking blocks; parade of the military vehicles and artillery; special police vehicles; parade of the armed forces at sea (with images transmitted to Ba Dinh Square); parade of the masses; parade of the cultural and sports blocks.

After two successful rehearsals at Ba Dinh Square on August 21 and 24, the State-level preliminary rehearsal for the parade took place on the evening of August 27. The State-level rehearsal will take place on the morning of August 30.
