In the first 6 months of 2025, the tourism industry of Ca Mau province continued to maintain stable growth momentum, aiming at the goal of sustainable development, associated with the conservation of natural resources and effectively exploiting the potential of eco-tourism, culture - history, beliefs and typical cuisine of the Mekong Delta region.

Mui Ca Mau tourist area, Dat Mui commune is a typical destination of the province, always attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and experience.

According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the total number of visitors to tourist areas and destinations in the province is estimated at about 5.12 million, reaching 61% of the annual plan (8.4 million). Revenue from tourism is estimated at VND 4,890 billion, equivalent to 57% of the target set for the whole year 2025 (VND 8,585 billion).

Mr. Ly Vy Trieu Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, said that the positive results achieved in the first 6 months of the year were thanks to the locality focusing on investing and upgrading specific tourism products. Notable among them are the community tourism model associated with exploiting the Ca Mau mangrove ecosystem; the source tourism route combined with visiting cultural works, such as the house of the Bac Lieu Prince, etc.

Quan Am Phat Dai area, Hiep Thanh ward attracts a large number of domestic pilgrims.

Besides, key tourist areas and spots such as: Mui Ca Mau Tourist Area , U Minh Ha National Park, Khai Long Tourist Area and many other eco-tourism and community tourist spots continue to maintain their attraction to domestic and foreign tourists.

In addition, the Department also promotes and advertises images at cultural and tourism events and festivals, applying digital transformation in conjunction with introducing OCOP products and local culinary culture. Thereby, promoting the effectiveness of connecting tours and tourist routes, meeting the needs of tourists when coming to the southernmost land of the Fatherland.
