953 candidates took the exam to select the high school excellent student team to compete at the national level.

On September 23 and 24, Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training organized an exam to select a team of excellent high school students to compete at the national level in the 2025-2026 school year.

The whole province has 953 candidates taking the exam at 2 exam sites: Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Nam Nha Trang ward) and Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Dong Hai ward). Of which, 91 candidates took the exam in Math; 105 in Physics; 66 in Chemistry; 75 in Biology; 188 in Literature; 120 in History; 65 in Geography; 180 in English; 63 in Information Technology. Each subject has 2 exam sessions, in written form, except for Information Technology, the exam is computer programming, and the English subject has an additional speaking part.

Based on the exam results, the Department of Education and Training will rank individual prizes (first, second, third, and encouragement) for each subject, and select no more than 20 students from each subject into the team to participate in review and training.
