Proud to be a pioneer in innovation in the Finance - Banking industry
Attending the event were Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, representatives of provinces, cities, scientific organizations and the business community.
The Vietnam Top Industry 4.0 Program in 2025 honored 125 outstanding enterprises and individuals, including: 10 industry 4.0 enterprises; 22 science and technology, innovation and digital transformation enterprises; 68 enterprises with smart digital products and good technology solutions; 25 outstanding leaders, pioneers in innovation and digital transformation. Notably, this is the first year the program has added a category to honor Leaders/Entrepreneurs pioneering innovation and digital transformation in the country's rising era.
Speaking at the award ceremony, the representative of the Organizing Committee emphasized: The enterprises honored this year all have outstanding technological capabilities, innovative strategic thinking and commitment to sustainable development. They are the pioneers, making practical contributions to the realization of the national digital transformation vision, creating new values for the economy and society.
Along with many outstanding enterprises and organizations participating this year, Agrink was honored in two categories. This is an important milestone when for the first time, Agribank was named in both major categories of the award. This shows Agribank's remarkable and comprehensive progress in applying digital technology, constantly creating and perfecting a modern and smart banking ecosystem, meeting the increasing needs of the market and the development orientation of the country.
Agribank was established in 1988 and has now affirmed its position as the only state-owned commercial bank holding 100% of charter capital with the largest scale of operation in the system. Agribank owns a network of more than 2,300 branches and transaction offices. This widespread presence allows Agribank to reach and serve millions of customers, especially in the agricultural and rural areas where Agribank always plays a key role in implementing the credit policy serving "Tam Nong".
With its unique mission, Agribank constantly innovates its governance model and applies modern technology to improve operational efficiency, contributing to promoting sustainable economic development. By the end of 2024, Agribank's total assets had reached an impressive figure of over VND 2.2 million billion, with outstanding loans to the economy exceeding VND 1.72 million billion. Notably, 65% of this is focused on the agricultural and rural sectors, affirming Agribank's strong commitment to the development of this sector.
Being honored at “Top Industry 4.0 Vietnam 2025” shows that Agribank’s digital transformation strategy is on the right track, creating a solid foundation for a comprehensive, modern and user-friendly digital banking model. This is not only an achievement of Agribank but also an important contribution to the national digital transformation.
Model State-owned enterprises in national digital transformation
The highlight of the award ceremony was the CASS+ solution (Credit Approval System for Superior Authority) - a system that supports the digitalization of the credit approval process beyond the authority of Agribank. CASS+ has quickly demonstrated its outstanding processing capacity and impact scale. The success of CASS+ not only demonstrates Agribank's technological capacity but also affirms its autonomy in developing specialized digital solutions that meet the needs and characteristics of banking operations.
Notably, in the list of Top 22 enterprises honored in Category 2 this year, Agribank is the only state-owned bank present in both award categories, once again affirming the pioneering role and outstanding technological capacity of a leading financial institution in Vietnam.
This double achievement is a direct result of Agribank's serious and proactive implementation of important policies and guidelines of the Party and State. Specifically, Agribank has closely followed and effectively implemented Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on promoting national digital transformation as well as the National Digital Transformation Strategy to 2025. In particular, Agribank has concretized it with Plan No. 77-KH/DU dated February 28, 2025 on accelerating the development of the digital banking ecosystem, green finance, focusing on core technology and modernizing corporate governance. These efforts have created a solid foundation for Agribank's comprehensive development in the digital age.
With two important awards at “Top Industry 4.0 Vietnam 2025”, Agribank continues to affirm its position as a leading state-owned enterprise in the process of creating digital banking, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the country. This is a strong motivation for Agribank to continue to strive, towards greater achievements, more breakthrough goals in the coming period: Top 100 largest banks in Asia - affirming the position and brand of a Vietnamese bank in the international arena.
