For those who love to explore Singapore’s culture and heritage, Kampong Gelam is a must-visit destination. Singapore’s past scenes and structures will be recreated in miniature by artist Wilfred at 45/47 Pahang Street.

At Pahang Street Car Park, visitors can enjoy a light installation that blends modernity with traditional elements. Nearby is GPSS Food Park & Food Truck Alley, which offers a wide selection of local and international snacks, mains and desserts. Kampong Gelam also has activities for kids such as toy car racing and mini roller coasters at Aliwal Street Carpark.

A series of entertainment spots for every family member

Multi-generational families should not miss out on special offers for some attractions and entertainment. For example, there are discounted admission tickets to Bird Paradise and Singapore Zoo from September 15-17. Specifically, families with tickets to the F1 tournament can buy VIP tickets to visit the two amusement parks for only SGD 252 (about VND 4.5 million) to avoid waiting when visiting and participating in entertainment experiences. Each package will include admission tickets, a tour guide, and free shuttle bus to Mandai.

The Tanglin Gin, Singapore’s first gin distillery, is also offering a promotion from 8-17 September. Visitors can learn about the distilling process and enjoy a free racetrack-inspired cocktail when they sign up for a tour starting at just SGD49 (about VND870,000). Visitors can visit the distillery from 5pm to 10pm, Tuesday to Sunday at 26B Dempsey Road.

Additionally, there are Countdown to Race Weekend events every day at a number of restaurants, bars and cafes, such as 1-Altitude Coast at The Outpost Hotel, 10 Artillery Ave, or 1-Arden at 88 Market St. Each location will have a different theme and organization.
