On the morning of September 23 (Vietnam time), in New York, USA, General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife, along with a high-level Vietnamese delegation, attended the ceremony commemorating the first anniversary of the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and looking forward to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the US.

The Unity Through Art program, part of the event held on the morning of September 23rd (Vietnam time), featured artists representing various countries.
An Tran and San Trinh were entrusted with the responsibility of representing Vietnamese music and culture to perform at this event.
In front of General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife, along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation and US senators, two young artists played guitar and saxophone the Northern Vietnamese folk song "Floating Water Lilies and Drifting Clouds" . Notably, An Tran wore an ao dai - the traditional Vietnamese dress - during the performance.
Speaking to a VietNamNet reporter, the two young artists were emotional and proud. They chose to perform " Floating Water Lilies and Drifting Clouds" - one of Vietnam's classic folk songs, familiar to both of them, so it didn't take much time to practice.
"Each time we practice together, we feel and experience the piece differently. We are very happy and proud of the success of this performance. We hope that in the near future, no matter where we are, we will once again have the opportunity to serve music to the Vietnamese people," San Trinh and An Tran said.
At the end of the program, the two young artists had the honor of shaking hands with General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife and posing for a commemorative photo.
An Tran, whose full name is Tran Dam An Phuc, was born in 2004 and first appeared in public when she performed saxophone on the stage of her father, artist Tran Manh Tuan's "Dau An 2013" live show.

The artist is also an ambassador for the Trinh Cong Son Scholarship Fund and an ambassador for the prestigious Berklee College of Music, one of the world's leading universities. An Tran is the youngest artist to participate in the National Concerts "What Remains" in 2023 and 2024.
