NDO - On the morning of April 1, at the Presidential Palace, right after the solemn welcoming ceremony, President Luong Cuong met with King Philippe of the Kingdom of Belgium, who is on a state visit to Vietnam from March 31 to April 4.

This is the first State visit to Vietnam by the King and Queen of Belgium since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1973; demonstrating Belgium's special regard for the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, as well as Vietnam's role and position in the region.
