Ministry of Public Security announces minimum admission scores for university and intermediate levels

The Ministry of Public Security considers admission based on a combination of the competency assessment test scores organized by the Ministry of Public Security and the High School Graduation Exam scores or international language certificate scores.

The Ministry of Public Security has just announced the threshold to ensure the quality of regular university and intermediate level admissions to new schools in the police sector.

Accordingly, except for the Medical Faculty of the People's Public Security University of Engineering and Logistics, all other faculties of this university of 8 universities and academies in the public security sector have the same minimum score of 70 points.

The floor score includes the total score of the 3 subjects of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in the admission group (or the converted score of the international foreign language certificate) on a 100-point scale and the score of the Ministry of Public Security's Assessment Test on a 100-point scale, with no failing score according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Public Security.

Particularly, the Medical Faculty of the People's Public Security University of Technology and Logistics has a threshold to ensure input quality from the 2025 High School Graduation Exam score of 3 subjects of 20.5 points (including priority points) and the 2025 Ministry of Public Security assessment test score of 20 points on a 100-point scale.

The threshold to ensure input quality for the newly recruited regular intermediate level based on the 2025 High School Graduation Exam scores (without bonus points) of the 3 subjects in the admission group is 10 points, with no failing score.

In 2025, the Ministry of Public Security will use three admission methods: direct admission of excellent students who have won high prizes in national and international excellent student competitions according to the current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and regulations of the Ministry of Public Security; admission combining international language certificates with the results of the assessment test of the Ministry of Public Security; admission combining the results of the High School Graduation Exam with the results of the assessment test of the Ministry of Public Security./.
