On July 27, a long line of people came to offer incense to commemorate the heroes and martyrs at the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial (Cam Lam District, Khanh Hoa ). They were wives, mothers, children, comrades, and people across the country carrying with them memories, gratitude, and respect with the desire to offer a stick of incense to pay tribute to those who lay behind.
On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor offered incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs at Gac Ma Memorial - a meeting place of gratitude built by the Trade Union from millions of grateful hearts of union members and people nationwide. Overcoming a long distance, on the morning of July 27, Mother Vo Thi A (82 years old, in Quang Binh ) - mother of Gac Ma martyr Pham Huu Ty came to the Gac Ma Soldier Memorial to visit her son and comrades very early. "My wish to have all my children and grandchildren gather here once while I still have the strength is fulfilled today. The 35 years since my son sacrificed, the longing cannot be lessened, but my heart is warmed because there are many people here who remember him" - Mother Vo Thi A said quietly. On the occasion of July 27 this year, the three wives of Gac Ma martyrs, Ms. Do Thi Ha (Khanh Hoa), Ms. Tran Thi Lieu (Quang Binh), Ms. Mai Thi Hoa (Quang Binh) had the opportunity to meet and share their pain. Lieutenant Colonel Do Hai Dang - Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 146, Naval Region 4, along with 25 officers and soldiers, on behalf of the officers and soldiers of the Brigade, offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Gac Ma Memorial Site. To pay tribute to the heroic martyrs and guide children to be grateful to their roots, today 150 teachers and students of Baby Shark Kindergarten (Nha Trang) came together to offer incense at the memorial site. A tourist offers flowers at the foot of the monument "Those who lie on the horizon" to commemorate the heroic martyrs on July 27. Mr. Khong Trung Thang - Chairman of the Board of Nha Trang University shared: "Today, 50 staff and students of the school pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Gac Ma memorial site so that they can remember that today's peace is thanks to many generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed and gave up a part of their blood. Especially for students of the Gen Z generation, the historical images here are the most visual evidence to educate them". On the occasion of July 27 this year, every day, nearly 2,000 officials, employees, residents and tourists came to offer incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs. Every person who came here was moved and grateful to those who fell.
