On the afternoon of May 8, local time (evening of the same day, Hanoi time), General Secretary To Lam and his wife, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, arrived in Moscow, beginning an official visit to the Russian Federation and attending the 80th Anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, from May 8 to 11, 2025 at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin.
