According to statistics, Antony has reached the milestone of 23 direct involvements in goals (scoring or assisting) across all competitions this season, the highest number of his career. This achievement far surpasses what the player born in 2000 accomplished while playing for Ajax or Manchester United.
Notably, Antony achieved this milestone while struggling with groin pain for months. The injury prevented him from fully utilizing his speed and acceleration, strengths that are his trademark.
Recognizing the problem, Antony quickly adjusted his playing style, reducing one-on-one dribbling and improving his positioning and decision-making in crucial moments.

In La Liga, Antony scored 7 goals and provided 6 assists. In the Europa League, he contributed 6 goals and 3 assists, in addition to an assist in the Copa del Rey. These contributions helped Real Betis significantly improve their position in the league table and progress further in the continental competition.
Compared to the 2021/22 season, when Antony was involved in 22 goals for Ajax, his current form shows a clear improvement. Beyond just the numbers, Antony has also made a significant impact on the field, frequently stretching the opposing defense and creating space for his teammates.
Although he hasn't been called up to the Brazilian national team in recent selections, Antony still hopes to feature in the upcoming World Cup. With his impressive form in the latter part of the season, he is gradually winning over coach Carlo Ancelotti.
