The Department of Transport coordinates with relevant agencies in investment and promotion of the conversion of road motor vehicles and inland waterway vehicles to electricity and green energy; encourages new bus stations, rest stops, ports, and inland waterway wharves to be built or converted according to green criteria.
When replacing and investing in new vehicles, bus and taxi passenger transport businesses in the province should pay attention to using electric and green energy vehicles; ensuring the implementation of the target of 100% of key transport enterprises having a program to disseminate vehicle control skills and technical solutions in exploiting and using motor vehicles in the direction of saving energy. In addition, the Department of Transport coordinates with provincial departments, branches and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to review the development and application of energy-saving measures in planning and developing the transport system./.
