The program "Source of Glory" deeply expresses gratitude to compatriots and soldiers

On the evening of August 2, at ATK Square (Dinh Hoa commune, Thai Nguyen province), the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army organized a special art program with the theme "Source of glory."

This is an activity towards the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (September 7, 1945 - September 7, 2025).

Attending the program were General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense ; General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense; leaders of Thai Nguyen province and many people.

At the program, delegates reviewed the heroic tradition and 80 years of construction and growth of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

Thai Nguyen - The capital of the thousand winds, the Viet Bac resistance base, where Uncle Ho and the Party Central Committee were attached during the 9 years of resistance war against French colonialism, has always been a symbol of loyalty and affection to the Party and the revolution.

In which, the General Staff is one of the agencies that has been closely attached to the ethnic minorities and people of Thai Nguyen province since its inception as well as throughout the arduous years of resistance.

The Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province always respect and remember that attachment and are always proud that this land was chosen as the place to nurture and protect the first steps of the General Staff.

In particular, over the years, Thai Nguyen province has always identified preserving and promoting the value of the ATK revolutionary historical relic as a great responsibility and pride.

In particular, the art program "Source of Glory" with many unique and elaborate performances, staged elaborately and magnificently, performed by professional artists, singers and actors of the military unit.

This is considered a deep gratitude from the officers and soldiers of the General Staff to the people of Viet Bac and the people of the whole country, the large audience attending the program.

On the same afternoon, the delegation of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense led by General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and General Vo Nguyen Giap at the ATK Dinh Hoa historical and ecological relic site.

The delegation visited places associated with the leadership of the resistance war against French colonialism by the Party Central Committee, the Government and the General Command, such as the residence and workplace of General Vo Nguyen Giap (Binh Yen commune); the memorial site of General Hoang Van Thai, the first Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

On this occasion, the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army held the inauguration and handover of the multi-purpose building of Hoang Ngan Secondary School and 6 classrooms at Diem Mac Kindergarten, Phu Dinh commune.

This is a gift from the General Staff to the people, teachers and students, expressing the gratitude and deep appreciation of generations of cadres and soldiers; giving many meaningful gifts to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution./.
