Mr. Minh added that Apax Leaders English Center has submitted documents requesting permission to resume operations for these two facilities. However, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training is in the process of assessing the conditions of facilities and teachers. As of the morning of May 13, the Department has not officially issued a document granting permission to resume operations for these two facilities.
Meanwhile, the third facility is also the only one of Apax Leaders still operating in Ho Chi Minh City, located on Phan Xich Long Street (Phu Nhuan District).

On the afternoon of May 12, Apax English Joint Stock Company (Apax Leaders) sent a notice to parents and students about some of the latest updates related to the reopening process and tuition refunds.
According to the announcement, Apax Leaders English Center said that it has improved its curriculum and completed the teacher recruitment process. Therefore, parents can send their children back to school at 33 centers nationwide.
In Ho Chi Minh City, there are 3 centers reopening including Him Lam (District 6), Le Duc Tho (Go Vap District) and Phan Xich Long (Phu Nhuan District).
Currently, the Education Services Information Page of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City also updated the operating status of 41 centers in the Apax Leaders system, 39/41 centers have temporarily stopped operating. The center located on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street (District 3) has been dissolved, the active center is located on Phan Xich Long Street (Phu Nhuan District).
One of the issues that parents are most concerned about today is tuition refunds. In the latest announcement, Apax Leaders Center affirmed that it "will not handle any single withdrawal cases during the system consolidation phase". Previously, this center repeatedly used the excuse of "restructuring" to postpone the tuition refund deadline, causing anger among thousands of parents.
