On May 20, technology giant Apple announced the schedule for the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC25) - the largest annual event for the worldwide programming community, scheduled to take place online from June 9-13.
According to Apple's announcement, WWDC25 will continue to be a free, global, and online playground, bringing together thousands of passionate developers, engineers, designers, and students to explore the latest tools, technologies, and features across the entire Apple ecosystem.
Throughout the week, tech developers around the world will be able to participate in more than 100 in-depth discussions on app design, graphics, gaming, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, the Swift programming language, and more.
The most important event, the Keynote, will take place on June 9 and will be streamed on apple.com, the Apple TV app, and Apple’s official YouTube channel. This is when Apple will announce major updates to its iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS platforms, along with new AI breakthroughs, expected to be called “Apple Intelligence.”
In parallel with online activities, Apple will hold a special live event at Apple Park - Apple's headquarters, located in Cupertino (USA) - on June 9, gathering more than 1,000 selected programmers and students. This will be an opportunity for them to meet directly with the leading engineering team and experience the latest technologies right at the "heart" of Apple.
In addition, 50 students who win the Swift Student Challenge 2025 - an Apple program to nurture the next generation of developers and technology entrepreneurs - will be honored and invited to participate in a 3-day experience at Apple Park./.
