Apple reduces iPhone prices across Vietnam

Recently, major domestic retailers have simultaneously reduced prices on genuine Apple phone models still on the shelves. The discount of 700,000-3 million VND is applied to models from iPhone 16 to iPhone 13. The new prices help some models to downgrade their segments, increasing competitiveness.

From the company's policy, the price at the dealer also has a similar fluctuation. Currently, many iPhone models have deep discounts compared to just a few months ago.

Specifically, the iPhone 16 Pro Max with default memory has been reduced to 30.5-31.5 million VND, a decrease of 1.8-2 million VND compared to last month. Based on the 35 million VND mark at the opening sale, the device can be purchased for about 5 million VND cheaper. Similarly, the iPhone 16 Pro has also been reduced by 6%, currently being sold by dealers for around 25-26 million VND.

The product with the deepest discount this time is the iPhone 15. From the previous price of about 19 million VND, the device is now 15.5-16 million VND. The reduction is 3 million VND, equivalent to 20% of the device's price.

The new price was announced right at the time when the iPhone 16e was about to go on sale in Vietnam. The new model is listed at 17 million VND. It is currently between the iPhone 16 and iPhone 15, has a good configuration but has many features cut compared to last year's old flagship.

Speaking with Tri Thuc - Znews , representatives of retailers said the company reduced the import price, according to the general policy. However, the discount level applied at each system is different based on the sales policy. However, the difference between agents is not much. Groups of agents such as Hoang Ha Mobile, 24h Store, Di Dong Viet sell about 500,000 VND cheaper on some models. Meanwhile, level 1 agents such as The Gioi Di Dong, Viettel Store, FPT Shop, CellphoneS are almost equivalent.

Apple still reduces prices when the market loses purchasing power every year in Vietnam. However, the application deadline is getting earlier and earlier. This year, Apple reduced the price of the entire iPhone product line just one month after Tet, reflecting a negative signal in the mobile market.

Deep discounts on many models also help Apple increase its competitiveness. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is currently priced at the same level as the genuine Galaxy S25 Ultra, while Samsung devices are sold below the listed price. Similarly, the iPhone 15 is still priced at 15-16 million VND, making it a worthy choice in the mid-range segment, competing with the Xiaomi 14T and Reno13 Pro lines. In particular, the iPhone 13 and 14 are currently in the mid-range segment, with many advantages when compared to Android competitors.
