The PR Manager position for iPhone, posted on Apple's website on July 10, requires candidates to have eight years of experience in public relations, with the ability to successfully execute creative and impactful communications campaigns.
The person in this position will play a key role in managing and expanding relationships with media, content creators and influencers in Vietnam.
In addition to the PR Manager position, Apple is also looking for personnel for many other important positions such as Product Marketing Manager, Legal Advisor in Vietnam, production engineer, quality inspector and supply chain specialist.
As of July 21, there are a total of 60 different job positions being recruited, concentrated in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi .
Apple's massive recruitment drive comes as Vietnam increasingly asserts its important role in the corporation's global supply chain.
In its financial report at the beginning of the year, Apple emphasized Vietnam as one of its key manufacturing locations. CEO Tim Cook also revealed that many Apple products will be assembled in Vietnam, strengthening the country’s position in the company’s manufacturing strategy.
Apple's recruitment push in Vietnam has attracted great interest, especially from young candidates with expertise in technology and marketing.
