Rodrygo and Gyokeres could join Arsenal this summer. |
Having completed the £51m deal for Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, Arsenal are not stopping there. They want to close in on at least one more world-class winger. The Athletic claims Rodrygo has turned down a huge offer from Saudi Arabia. Instead, he is willing to join Arsenal if he has to leave Real Madrid.
At 24, Rodrygo possesses creativity, control of the back of the pitch and extremely sharp decision-making. The Brazilian international can completely form a dream wing duo with Bukayo Saka for Arsenal. Arsenal fans even soon envisioned the prospect of Rodrygo "setting the table" for Gyokeres to score.
As for Gyokeres, the Swedish striker is also eager to join Emirates. He gave up nearly 2 million pounds in salary to help Sporting Lisbon negotiate.
